Thomas Carlson

Thomas Carlson is a Managing Director in the Recapitalization and Restructuring Group at Jefferies & Company Inc. He has over a decade's worth of restructuring experience, including leveraged recapitalization finance, M&A, crisis management and business turnaround. Prior to joining Jefferies in 2000, Carlson was a project manager at Zolfo Cooper LLC. Before Zolfo Cooper, he was a senior consultant in the Corporate Recovery Group at PriceWaterhouse LLP, where he was part of the business turnaround services team. He began his career at Coopers & Lybrand LLP's New York office as an audit associate. Carlson received a bachelor's degree from Colgate University and an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He is also a certified public accountant and a certified insolvency and restructuring advisor.
