Leonard Wheeler
Former NFL Player; Owner, Wheeler Enterprises Inc.
Leonard Wheeler, a former NFL player, is the owner of Wheeler Enterprises Inc., a firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina, that offers personal and corporate coaching to enhance leadership. Wheeler played with the Cincinnati Bengals, the Minnesota Vikings and finally the Carolina Panthers before retiring. He has been active on the speaking circuit since 1992, appearing at businesses, colleges, high schools, churches and ministries. He serves on the board of Youth Commission International, which works in 32 states to improve education. He is also on the board of 2XSalt ministries in Charlotte with NBA greats like David Thompson and Bobby Jones. Wheeler is president of the National Football Players Association's Charlotte Retired Players Chapter and was recently selected as the only retired player on the association's Financial Committee, which regulates more than 500 financial advisors for active NFL players. Wheeler is president of the National Business Association, a networking event that brings pro athletes together with business professionals. He holds a business degree with a minor in psychology.
