Dmitry Mosin
Director of Strategic Planning, Sochi 2014
Dmitry Mosin is the Director of Strategic Planning for Sochi 2014, the bid committee that succeeded in bringing the 2014 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games to Russia and the resort city of Sochi, located on the Black Sea and at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains. From 2004 to 2005, Mosin advised the Moscow 2012 Bid Committee in its bid to host the summer Olympic Games (London eventually won the process). Since 2003 he has worked as a marketing manager for Rolf, the leading Russian automobile dealer; prior to that, he was employed by Ayaxi, an e-business solutions and Internet incubator, as director of strategic planning. Mosin has also worked at Coca-Cola in Russia as a channel marketing manager and as a spokesman for the Department of Foreign Economic Relations in the Nizhny Novgorod regional administration. Educated in linguistics, he received a master's degree in economics from the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom.
