Peter Madden

Peter Madden is Executive Director and Co-Head of North American Real Estate Investments for APG Investments US Inc., a subsidiary of Netherlands-based APG (All Pensions Group), one of the largest managers of pension assets in the world. APG administers the pensions for more than 2.7 million people and manages $337 billion in global assets. Madden oversees APG's services relating to private real estate investments in North and South America, including fund investments, joint ventures and other private portfolio equity and income-oriented investments in excess of $1 billion. He was previously a portfolio manager and investment analyst for General Motors Asset Management Corporation, on a team responsible for building and managing a $5.8 billion equity real estate portfolio for the pension plans of the GM and its subsidiaries. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Pension Real Estate Association and the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate. Madden received a bachelor's degree from Skidmore College and a master's degree in real estate development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
