Arthur Byrnes is a Senior Managing Director with Deltec Asset Management LLC, a New York-based money management firm that specializes in emerging markets. He spent the early years of his life in Rio de Janeiro and has been enamored of the country, and Latin America, ever since. Byrnes has spent his entire career with Deltec in various capacities, but always involved in foreign investment. He manages portfolios primarily for wealthy individuals who are interested in debt and equity exposure in emerging markets. He is director of the Brazilian American Chamber of Commerce and of the Ecuadorian American Association. Byrnes received a bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
