Nicholas Baldick
President and Founder, Hilltop Public Solutions; 2004 National Campaign Manager for John Edwards
Nicholas Baldick is the President and Founder of Hilltop Public Solutions, a Washington, D.C.-based public affairs and political consulting firm. He served as national campaign manager for Senator John Edwards's 2004 presidential bid, developing and executing the campaign's strategic plan and day-to-day operations, and managing 150 employees and roughly $33 million in expenditures. He also played a leading role in Vice President Al Gore's 2000 presidential campaign, serving as the New Hampshire primary state director. This followed his previous work directing and managing Gore's political action committee, Leadership '98. Baldick began his political career working for President Clinton, both in the White House and directing campaigns in New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island and Wisconsin. Under his leadership in 1996, Clinton captured Florida, the first time a Democrat had done so in 20 years. Baldick received a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and a J.D. from the New York University School of Law.
