Lewis Feldman is a Partner in Goodwin Procter's Business Law Department, specializing in real estate, affordable housing and community development, corporate and securities finance, public finance, REITs and real estate capital markets. He is chair of the firm's Los Angeles office, a member of its National Executive Committee and head of the firm's Public/Private Development Practice. Feldman has handled more than $70 billion in debt and equity financings for apartments, master-planned communities, industrial facilities, urban entertainment centers, malls, hospitals, brownfield remediation efforts, transportation projects and public infrastructure. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and the National Association of Bond Lawyers. In addition, he is on the board of the Lusk Center for Real Estate at the University of Southern California; the Richard S. Ziman Center for Real Estate at the University of California, Los Angeles; and the United Way of Greater Los Angeles. Feldman received a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a J.D. from the University of California, Davis.
