Bradley Whitford
Actor; co-founder, Clothes Off Our Back Foundation
Bradley Whitford is an Actor and Co-Founder of the Clothes Off Our Back Foundation, which auctions celebrity awards-show finery to benefit children's charities. He co-founded the organization with actor Jane Kaczmarek; nearly 450 celebrities have participated in the the foundation's auctions since its inception in 2002, raising more than $1 million for such charities as Save the Children, the Children's Defense Fund and Cure Autism Now. Whitford is a classically trained stage actor who has received wide acclaim for his roles in theater, film and television. He most recently appeared in Aaron Sorkin's popular "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," but it was his role as Josh Lyman on NBC's venerable "West Wing" that propelled him to stardom and earned him a 2001 Emmy Award, as well as Golden Globe nominations in 2001 and 2002. Whitford studied theater and English literature at Wesleyan University and received a master's degree in theater from the Juilliard Theater Center.
