Brian Farrell is Chairman, President and CEO of THQ, one of the fastest-growing interactive entertainment publishers in the world. Under his leadership, THQ reported record revenues of $807 million and net income of $34 million in fiscal year 2006, the company's 11th consecutive year of net sales growth since Farrell became CEO in 1995. He has increased THQ's global marketing and distribution force to serve more than 75 countries, with offices in North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. His tenure also includes expanding the company's internal development network through studio acquisitions, including Relic Entertainment, Rainbow Studios and Volition Inc. Farrell guided THQ to market leadership in the popular gaming genres with leading licenses, including Disney-Pixar, Nickelodeon, World Wrestling Entertainment, Scooby-Doo! and more. At the same time, the company is enhancing its product offering, with original content, such as Company of Heroes, Destroy All Humans!, Juiced, MX vs. ATV, Saints Row and Stuntman. Farrell received a bachelor's degree from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
