David Agus

David Agus is Director of the Spielberg Family Center for Applied Proteomics and Research Director of the Louis Warschaw Prostate Cancer Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is also an attending physician in the Division of Medical Oncology at Cedars-Sinai and with the Department of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to joining Cedars-Sinai, Agus was an attending physician and head of the Laboratory of Tumor Biology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He also served as an assistant professor at Cornell University Medical Center. He is a leader in the use of technology for the study of biomarkers for disease outcomes. The recipient of numerous awards, Agus is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Association for Cancer Research, the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and the American Medical Association. He graduated with honors in molecular biology from Princeton University and received an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
