Aladdin Saba
Chairman and Founder, Beltone Financial
Aladdin Saba is Chairman and Co-Founder of Beltone Financial, which is active in Egypt and the Arabian Gulf markets. Saba co-founded Beltone in 2002, after having worked with EFG-Hermes, where he served as managing director and helped build the firm into the largest asset-management operation in Egypt. In 1991, Saba co-founded Kidder, Peabody & Co.'s Middle East regional office in Cairo, where he was co-manager and involved primarily in corporate finance activities, including privatization projects. He was also responsible for NOVA, the investment consulting service of Kidder, Peabody. Saba serves on the boards of a number of institutions, including the National Bank of Egypt and several international investment funds. He was a member of the board of directors of the Cairo and Alexandria Stock Exchange and is a founding member of both The Egyptian Investment Management Association and the Egyptian Capital Market Association. Saba received his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a master's degree in science and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
