John Kallenborn is President of the New Orleans Region of JPMorgan Chase Bank, North America. Chase has approximately 1,000 employees in the greater New Orleans area and 4,000 employees in Louisiana, and is the largest bank with operations in New Orleans. Since Hurricane Katrina, Chase has restored its retail presence and, on seven occasions since the storm, has issued underwriting commitments of more than $100 million to New Orleans-based entities. Having been active in New Orleans banking for 24 years, Kallenborn is also vice chair of the New Orleans Business Council, an organization of the 70 largest local businesses. He is a board member and former chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans, which is responsible for more than 30,000 direct and 30,000 indirect area jobs. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Kemper and Leila Williams Foundation (which operates the Historic New Orleans Collection), the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, the UNO Foundation and Tulane′s Business School Council. Kallenborn received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
