Bradley Belt is Chairman of Palisades Capital Advisors LLC, a new investment and advisory firm affiliated with Reservoir Capital Group. Prior to joining Reservoir, he was CEO and executive director of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., a wholly owned government corporation that insures the pension benefits of more than 44 million Americans. Belt was responsible for the PBGC's operations, including the administration of two insurance programs covering more than 30,000 defined-benefit plans sponsored by private-sector employers, distribution of more than $4 billion in annual benefit payments, structuring settlement agreements with plan sponsors and management of assets of $60 billion. He also helped shape administration policy on pension and retirement security issues. Belt has more than 20 years' experience in executive management, financial markets and policy development in the private, public and nonprofit sectors. He previously was managing director of FOLIOfn, a financial technology company, and held senior staff positions with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Senate. He has received numerous awards and honors, and has served on the boards of companies and nonprofit organizations. Belt earned his J.D. from Georgetown University.
