Matthew Bronfman is the Managing Director of ACI Capital, where his responsibilities include all areas of the firm's investing activities. Prior to joining ACI Capital, he was chairman and CEO of Candle Acquisitions Co., a private-label specialty candle manufacturer. Previously, he was the chairman and CEO of Sterling Cellular Holdings LP, a privately held cellular telephone company. Before joining Sterling Cellular Holdings, Bronfman was employed by Goldman Sachs & Co. and Cadillac Fairview Corp. Ltd. He currently serves on the boards of Jenny Craig, James River Group, Blue Square, Israel Ltd., Earnest Partners, Palace Candles Inc. and Tweeter Home Entertainment Group Inc. He joined the board of directors of the 92nd Street Y in 1991, chaired the capital campaign from 1997 to 2002, served as president from 2000 until 2003 and is currently chairman. He also serves on the budget and finance committee of the World Jewish Congress. Bronfman earned his MBA at Harvard Business School.
