Sheryle Bolton is President of The Indian Creek Group, which has advised both domestic and international clients on business strategy since 2002. From 1996-2002, Bolton was chairman and CEO of Scientific Learning Corporation, a K-12 educational software company. Under her leadership, the company developed more than 15 Fast ForWord language and reading software programs, based on validated scientific research on how the brain learns. She led the company from startup to over $30 million in annual sales, reaching more than 100,000 K-12 students and several thousand school districts. Bolton often speaks on educational technology and reading and learning issues, including invited testimony before the U.S. Commission on Web-based Learning. She currently serves on the Boards of The Julia Morgan School for Girls, the Headlands Institute, Berry College, and is chair of the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs and Executives. Bolton earned her bachelor′s in English and her master′s in linguistics at the University of Georgia and her MBA at Harvard Business School.
