C.K. Prahalad is the Harvey C. Fruehauf Professor of Business Administration at the University of Michigan Business School specializing in corporate strategy, and Chairman and Founder of The Next Practice. A globally recognized business guru, Prahalad has consulted for the top management of many of the world′s foremost companies, such as Ahlstrom, AT&T, Cargill, Citicorp, Eastman Chemical, Oracle, Phillips, Quantum, Revlon, Steelcase and Unilever. Prahalad serves on the board of directors of NCR Corporation, Hindustan Lever Limited and the World Resources Institute. Prahalad co-authored Multinational Mission: Balancing Local Demands and Global Vision (1987), Competing for the Future (1994), named the Bestselling Business Book of the Year and The Future of Competition: Co-Creating Unique Value with Customers (2004), which was translated into ten languages and described by Business Week as "provocative" and "an important book full of disruptive ideas."
