Glenn Stewart is Head of Loan Syndicate for Banc of America Securities LLC. Previously, Glenn directed leveraged loan capital markets and the leveraged loan sales effort where he led the development of the institutional investor distribution channel for BAS′s leveraged finance effort. His extensive experience in leveraged and structured finance includes work with Mellon Bank′s Capital Markets Group and PNC Bank′s Leveraged Leasing and Structured Finance Group. Stewart joined the board of the Loan Syndication and Trading Association in 2002 and served as chairman of the association for 2003, currently serving as one of two vice chairman. The LSTA board is made up of senior level executives from the leading institutions in the syndicated loan market. In June 2003, Treasury and Risk Management recognized Stewart as one of the "100 Most Influential People in Finance." He is a frequent contributor to industry publications such as International Financing Review, Investment Dealers Digest and American Banker, he is on the board of advisors for Providence Day School and is an active volunteer and fundraiser for Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity and the Susan B. Komen Foundation. Stewart earned his MBA at the University of Pittsburgh, Katz Graduate School of Business.
