Scott Stanford is Global Head of Internet Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs & Co. His responsibilities include business and investment selection, resource prioritization and select client coverage and transaction execution. He has been with Goldman Sachs for more than five years and in the Internet sector for 11 years, acting as agent, principal and investor. Prior to rejoining Goldman in 2004, Stanford was an investment professional at Liberty Associated Partners, a communications and technology venture fund created by John Malone and the Berkman family. In 1999 he joined LookSmart and held various executive management titles, including senior vice president of strategy and corporate development, as well as senior vice president of business development. He spent his business school summer at General Atlantic Partners and was a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York City for three years. Stanford received a bachelor's degree and MBA from Harvard University.
