Access to Global Capital Initiative: Corporate and Investor Roundtable
DescriptionHow can we stimulate growth and improve living standards in fast-growing economies around the world? That was the topic of a roundtable on Sept. 27, 2013 in New York, where speakers included Tony Blair, former U.K. prime minister and the founder of the Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative; H.E. Paul Kagame, president of the Republic of Rwanda; Strive Masiyiwa, chairman and founder of Econet Wireless; Seth Merrin, chairman of the Access to Global Capital Initiative and founder and CEO of Liquidnet; and Mike Milken, chairman of the Milken Institute.
The roundtable was part of the Institute's Access to Global Capital Initiative, developed in partnership with Liquidnet, which will work together with the Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative and the government of Rwanda to help identify and implement best practices that accelerate the flow of capital.
