Arianna Huffington

Arianna Huffington is a nationally syndicated columnist and author of eight books: The Female Woman, on the changing roles of women; After Reason, on political leadership, politics and culture; Maria Callas: The Woman Behind the Legend, The Gods of Greece, Picasso: Creator and Destroyer, The Fourth Instinct, Greetings From the Lincoln Bedroom, and How To Overthrow The Government, on the corruption of our political system and the need for reform. She is currently writing Pigs at the Trough: How Corporate Greed is Undermining America. Huffington is co-chair of Parents-In-Charge, a non-partisan group focusing on education. She serves on the boards of Points of Light Foundation; Do Something, challenging young people to create social change; and A Place Called Home that works with at-risk children. She is also on the advisory board of the Council on American Politics at George Washington University, and the Reform Institute working on campaign and election reform.
Huffington earned her master′s in economics at Cambridge University.
