Randy Wu
Managing Director of Development, OptiSolar Inc.
Randy Wu is a Managing Director of Development for OptiSolar Inc., responsible for the development of utility-scale solar projects in the Southwest. Prior to joining OptiSolar in 2008, he was general counsel at the California Public Utilities Commission, a managing director of El Paso Energy Corporation, a vice president of El Paso Natural Gas Company and an administrative law judge. He also has represented the City and County of San Francisco and TURN, a consumer group. Wu has more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry as a developer of power projects and a regulator of energy companies. He received both a bachelor's degree and a law degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
