Speaker's Biography:
Lenny Mendonca
Firm Leader of Knowledge Development, McKinsey & Company
Lenny Mendonca is Firm Leader of Knowledge Development at McKinsey & Company, based in the firm's San Francisco office. He also sits on McKinsey's Shareholders' Council, oversees the firm's communications (including The McKinsey Quarterly) and serves as chairman of the McKinsey Global Institute. He has consulted with dozens of corporate, government and nonprofit clients to solve their most difficult management challenges. In addition to chairing the Bay Area Council, Mendonca sits on the boards of the Bay Area Science and Innovation Consortium, The New America Foundation, Common Cause and the California Business for Educational Excellence Foundation. He is a trustee of the Committee for Economic Development, a member of the San Francisco School Alliance and a member of the advisory council of the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is also the founder and owner of the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company. Mendonca received a bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard College and an M.B.A. and a certificate in public management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
