Jordan Rau is a Staff Writer in the Sacramento bureau of the Los Angeles Times. His beat includes state health-care policy and politics. Before joining the paper in 2004, Rau was the Albany bureau chief for Newsday in New York and also worked at several newspapers in Vermont and New Hampshire. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University.
