Mark  Zandi Mark Zandi
Chief Economist and Co-founder, Economy.com

Mark Zandi is Chief Economist and Co-founder of Economy.com. Zandi directs Economy.com's research and consulting activities, which include macroeconomic, financial, industry and regional economics. His recent work includes a study of the outlook for national and regional housing market conditions, the determinants of personal bankruptcy, the location of high-technology centers, and the impact of globalization and technological change on real estate markets. Economy.com provides economic research and consulting services to corporations, governments and institutions as well as maintaining one of the largest online databases of economic and financial time series. In addition to being regularly cited in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, BusinessWeek, Fortune and other leading publications, Zandi has also appeared on ABC News, "Wall Street Week," CNN, and CNBC. Zandi earned his Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania in Economics, and his B.S. in economics at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
