Witold Orlowski Senior Economic Adviser to the President of Poland
Witold Orlowski is Senior Economic Adviser to the President of Poland. Orlowski is also director of the Research Centre for Statistical and Economic Studies (CSO and Academy of Sciences) in Warsaw, advisor to the Chief Negotiator of the EU membership, member of the Macroeconomic Council of the Minister of Finance. A macroeconomist, he is currently working on the economics of transition and the European integration of Central and East European countries. From 1993-1997, Orlowski was at the World Bank. He is one of the founders of NOBE Independent Center for Economic Studies.
