Elizabeth Browning Co-founder and CEO, LLuminari, Inc.
Elizabeth Browning is Co-founder and CEO of LLuminari, an innovative health education company for women. LLuminari and its network of physicians and experts work with media partners and leading corporations to enlighten and inspire people to live healthier lives. Major media initiatives include its "Here's to your Health" series in O, The Oprah Magazine and on Oprah.com, and a grassroots initiative with Women′s Entertainment. Prior to founding LLuminari, Browning was President of DuPont Consumer Health, a division of DuPont's Nutrition & Health business unit. During her 20-year career there, Browning led the globalization of the LYCRA® brand and DuPont′s entry into e-business, and was the first woman to serve in a corporate governance position. Browning lectures on global marketing and branding and has worked with the Stanford Executive Education Program and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. She led the creation of the Alexis de Tocqueville Society in Delaware, serving twice as its chair, served on the board of United Way of Delaware and was board chair for the Easter Seals of Delaware and the eastern shore of Maryland. She is a past member of the Marketing Science Institute and a member of the Forum for Executive Women in Philadelphia. Browning earned her bachelor's degree at Indiana University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.
