Speaker's Biography:
Rob Koepp
Research Fellow, Regional and Demographic Studies, Milken Institute
Rob Koepp is a Research Fellow in Regional and Demographic Studies at the Milken Institute. His research examines how managing innovative and entrepreneurial behavior allows organizations to attain sustainable competitive advantage in a global economy and the ways in which leadership and strategy can be used to foster vibrant, creative environments within public and private sector organizations and the economic regions in which they operate. He wrote Clusters of Creativity: Enduring Lessons on Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Silicon Valley and Europe′s Silicon Fen and he lectures on international business, international entrepreneurship, and managerial economics at Pepperdine University′s Graziadio School of Business and Management and Loyola Marymount University′s College of Business Administration. Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and Japanese, Koepp served in various senior positions with Western and Japanese technology firms prior to joining the Institute in 2002. Koepp earned his MBA at the University of Cambridge, England.
