Hundreds of California's leading business executives and policymakers gathered for a day of purpose and problem-solving at the 13th annual State of the State Conference. This all-day event at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles was highlighted by a special lunch panel featuring a conversation between Gov. Jerry Brown and Institute Chairman Mike Milken.
With a nonpartisan approach that's driven by data, not ideology, the State of the State Conference once again proved to be a unique platform for building consensus around fresh solutions. There was a genuine sense of collaboration as the state's most influential decision-makers weighed in on the topics that matter most to California's businesses and institutions.
Our goal is to make California a better place to do business with a focus on educating the workforce of the future and laying the groundwork for economic growth.
