The Milken Institute's 10th annual State of the State Conference brought together many of California's leading lawmakers, senior business executives, investors, academic experts and journalists for an extraordinary day of discussion and analysis about the state's future.
Highlighting the work of the Milken Institute's California Center, this daylong event produced a host of new ideas and solutions to the most urgent challenges confronting our state.
Panelists addressed a wide range of issues, from finding our way out of the housing downturn to bridging the state's growing budget gap and developing the work force of tomorrow.
Most of all, the conference offered a clear call to action for those of us who care deeply about California's future.
