Frederick Khedouri is a partner in Apollo Management International LLP, a member of the investment committee and chief investment officer of the Apollo European Principal Finance Fund. EPF is a 1.3 billion fund that focuses primarily on financial assets in Western Europe. Prior to joining Apollo, Khedouri spent 22 years at Bear Stearns & Co., where he became a senior managing director. There he oversaw the firm's activities relating to the U.S. savings and loan crisis, leading over US$20 billion of residential and commercial mortgage securities offerings for the Resolution Trust Corporation. Prior to Bear Stearns, he held senior policy posts in the White House under President Reagan, including deputy for policy and associate director for natural resources, energy and science in the White House Office of Management and Budget; assistant to the vice president for policy; and deputy chief of staff to Vice President George H.W. Bush. Khedouri holds an A.B. from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from the University of Texas.
