Managing Director, Carlyle European Real Estate Partners
Robert Hodges is a managing director at Carlyle European Real Estate Partners, responsible for asset management strategy across Europe and the acquisition of U.K. real estate properties. Prior to joining Carlyle, he was a director of LaSalle Investment Management, responsible for portfolio management of European commingled funds, including the 850 million Euro 5 Portfolio and the $400 million "Francilienne" fund of office properties in and around Paris. He was also responsible for the team working on the portfolio of French real estate loans and properties acquired from Barclays Bank, which was the first portfolio of distressed debt sold into the French market. Prior to that, he worked in LaSalle's London office on the acquisition and asset management of London office properties and U.K. regional shopping centers. Previously, Hodges was a corporate finance analyst for Brown Shipley and Crédit Agricole du Calvados. He graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a B.S. in economics.
