President, NBCUniversal International
Jeff Shell is president of NBCUniversal International, responsible for overseeing TV distribution, networks and production around the world. In partnership with their domestic leaders, Shell also oversees CNBC International, international theatrical marketing and distribution, international home entertainment and international theme park operations. Prior to joining NBCUniversal, he held a number of senior roles with media companies, including president of Comcast Programming Group, CEO of Gemstar-TV Guide International and president of the Fox Cable Networks Group. Before that, Shell worked in strategic planning at the Walt Disney Co. and Salomon Brothers Inc. He serves on the board of several nonprofits, including the National Constitution Center, and is active in a number of organizations working on public school reform. Shell received bachelor's degrees in economics and applied mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, and his M.B.A. from Harvard University.
