Too many Californians are struggling to find work or settling for jobs that don't really pay the bills - and they need help now. What will it take to jumpstart job growth? Some say California isn't friendly enough toward business, and its cost of living requires wages that are just too high. But is the story really that simple? Why aren't companies hiring? California is known for its creativity, great universities and openness to new ideas - not to mention that it's strategically located for trade with Asia and Latin America. How can we translate these assets into economic growth and job creation? How can we better support entrepreneurs? Can the state and private industry work together to tackle this issue quickly?
