William Santana Li
William Santana Li is chairman and CEO of Knightscope, Inc., which is developing crime prediction and prevention technology using robots, predictive analytics and social engagement. This technology has generated wide media coverage, including by the New York Times, NBC, Fox, CNET, Bloomberg, Forbes and Time. Santana Li is an entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience and a deep range of expertise gained from posts in the auto industry and at several startups. He founded and was chairman and CEO of Carbon Motors; co-founded Built-to-Order, Inc., where he served as president and CEO; served as president and CEO of Model E Corp.; and founded and was chief operating officer of Greenleaf LLC, a Ford subsidiary that became the world's second-largest automotive recycler. Earlier, he held more than a dozen business and technical positions at Ford Motor Co., including director of mergers and acquisitions. Santana Li has a B.S.E.E. from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.B.A. from the University of Detroit Mercy.
