Brian Sheth co-founded Vista Equity Partners, one of the world's leading technology investment firms, with Robert Smith in 2000 and is the firm's president. Vista is a U.S.-based investment firm with offices in Austin, Chicago, San Francisco, and Oakland with more than $28 billion in cumulative capital commitments, and oversees a portfolio of over 35 software companies that employ over 45,000 employees worldwide. Prior to joining Vista, Brian worked at Bain Capital, where he focused on leveraged buyouts of technology companies. Brian also previously worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Groups at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. Brian has been recognized broadly for his philanthropic efforts and contributions to the arts, sciences, and education. Brian also serves on the board of directors of The GRAMMY Museum, MarVista Entertainment, and serves as chairman for Global Wildlife Conservation. Brian received a bachelor of science in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
