Senior Vice President, Private Equity, bcIMC
Jim Pittman joined bcIMC as Senior Vice President of Private Equity in April 2016. bcIMC is one of Canada’s largest institutional investors with C$124 billion assets under management. Prior to joining bcIMC, Mr. Pittman was a Managing Director at PSP Investments, a C$110 billion pension fund based in Montreal, QC, where he co-lead the commencement of the firm’s private equity strategy. During Mr. Pittman’s time at PSP, the Private Equity program deployed over C$12.5 billion in investments, including a value of over $4.5 billion in direct and co-investment deals. Mr. Pittman was the lead Director for Telesat, Haymarket Financial, Noranco, Kinetic Concepts, AmWins Insurance, and was a Director for Noodles and Company until their successful IPO in 2013. Jim is currently a lead director for bcIMC for Pilot Freight Services Inc. Jim is a B.Comm (Finance) with Memorial University, Chartered Accountant with Deloitte and tax specialist with PwC. Prior to PSP, Jim was the CFO/COO for Provincial Aerospace Limited in Eastern Canada.
