Mohammad Barraj is a managing director of Guggenheim KBBO Partners Ltd, where he heads the investment banking vertical of the firm and is responsible for the origination and execution of a broad range of high profile mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, capital raising and restructuring transactions. Guggenheim KBBO Partners is a DIFC-based joint venture between Guggenheim Partners and the KBBO Group. Previously, Mohammad was a senior director at SHUAA Capital psc and earlier at Ernst & Young. He has over 13 years of regional corporate finance experience leading corporate and financial sponsors' transactions in the MENA region. Mohammad earned his masters of science in accounting and finance from the University of Birmingham in the UK and a bachelor of business administration with merit from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. He is a CPA and also licensed by the Securities & Commodities Authority in the UAE. He holds multiple certifications and awards from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment in the UK.
