Jayne Van Hoen is executive director of events at the Milken Institute, where she has overall responsibility for the organization's conferences, summits, forums and other gatherings. She has more than 20 years' experience in business, program and relationship development, gained in global media, publishing, public relations, events and social media organizations. Previously, Van Hoen was managing director of the Financial Times Conferences team. Under her leadership, FT Conferences grew from a team of eight running a handful of UK events to a 70-plus-member operation staging 220 events in 55 countries. Earlier, Van Hoen was a consultant in business model implementation and strategy, brand enhancement and recognition, media outreach, content generation and social media. She also at head of conferences and communications at Hemscott, head of publishing and brand marketing for River Publishing, head of business development at Thomson IFR and sales manager at Haymarket publications. She holds a history degree from the University of Warwick.
