Dennis Berman
Financial Editor, The Wall Street Journal

As Financial Editor of The Wall Street Journal, Dennis Berman oversees the staff and coverage of finance and markets around the globe. He also writes The Game, a column which covers the future of business. Mr. Berman served as the Journal’s Business Editor from 2011 to 2015, running the Journal’s company coverage. He also served as the Journal’s mergers and acquisitions correspondent for four years. Mr. Berman joined the Journal in 2001 as a telecom reporter and technology columnist after beginning his career at Business Week Online. He shares the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for explanatory journalism and Gerald Loeb Awards for excellence in business journalism in 2009 and 2016. Mr. Berman holds a degree from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Kentucky Colonel.
