Reyaz is chief investment officer and head of AMC's Fund-of-Funds Group at IFC Asset Management Company (AMC). AMC raises and manages third-party capital, investing in IFC transactions in developing countries. It currently manages $9.8 billion across 13 funds, including two funds of funds: the IFC Catalyst Fund (profitable businesses in the climate space); and the Global Emerging Markets Fund (offers a highly diversified exposure to the emerging markets). Prior to AMC, Reyaz was with IFC for 29 years, working on oil and gas projects globally, and privatization advisory transactions across a range of sectors and geographies. In 2000, Reyaz took an external assignment with Softbank Emerging Markets, a VC fund sponsored by Softbank and IFC. From 2003 until joining AMC in 2010, he headed the sector team responsible for IFC's investments globally in renewable energy equipment. Prior to IFC, Reyaz worked at BCG, SG Warburg and Courtaulds PLC. Reyaz holds a BA and MA (with honors) from Queens' College, Cambridge and an MBA from INSEAD.
