Speaker's Biography:

Pete Trelenberg
Manager, Environmental Policy and Planning, Exxon Mobil Corporation

Pete Trelenberg is Manager, Environmental Policy and Planning for Exxon Mobil Corporation, a position he assumed in December, 2011. Pete received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1980. He has worked in a variety of project, operations, planning and business development roles of increasing responsibility for ExxonMobil’s Chemical businesses in the US and Asia; was a Senior Adviser at the Corporation’s headquarters in Dallas; Refinery Manager at Torrance in California; and was head of Planning and Business Development for ExxonMobil Chemical Company. Pete is a member of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Visiting Committees at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and at the University of Southern California, and is a past Board member of the California Manufacturers and Technology Association. Pete recently received a Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Wisconsin – Madison College of Engineering.
