Kelly Williams has had a distinguished career in law and finance, having founded the Customized Fund Investment Group in 1999, which specialized in private equity, real estate and infrastructure, investing and growing it to $30 billion in assets under management at the time of its sale in 2014. She has been recognized by the Toigo Foundation, the Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, the National Association of Investment Companies, the National Organization for Women, the Association of Asian American Investment Managers and the YWCA for her work in the pursuit of diversity in the finance industry and was recognized by American Banker as one of the Most Powerful Women in Finance from 2011 to 2014. She is founding chair and CEO of the Private Equity Women Investor Network. She serves on the board of directors of The Greenbrier Companies, a publicly held corporation. She also serves on the board of trustees and the executive committee of Union College.
