Glenn Yago is a senior fellow and founder of the Financial Innovations Labs at the Milken Institute and the senior director of the Milken Innovation Center at the Jerusalem Institute. His research and other projects have contributed to policy innovations fostering the democratization of capital to traditionally underserved markets as well as business and social entrepreneurs around the world. Currently, Yago oversees activities devoted to accelerating Israel's economic growth and global competitiveness through the transfer of financial technology. He has received grants from the National Science Foundation, Ford Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, among others. Yago is also a visiting professor at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the University of California at Berkeley and the University of California at San Diego. He is co-author of "Financing the Future: Market-Based Innovations for Growth" and many other books, articles and reports. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
