Moisés R. Kalach B. has been designated the international negotiations coordinator of the Mexican private sector by the chairman of the Consejo Coordinador Empresarial, a strategic position that seeks to expand opportunities of trade and investment throughout Mexico's ongoing free trade negotiations. He chaired the Mexican Business Coalition for the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), worldwide negotiations in which Mexico promoted the enormous challenge to successfully access the Asian market. President Peña Nieto appointed him to the APEC Business Advisory Council in 2013. He is also member of the High Level Committee for Mexico-China, whose main objective is to improve trade and economic cooperation between both countries. Mr. Kalach is vice president of Kaltex Group, a Western Hemisphere-leading company with investments in the manufacture of acrylic fiber, yarns and woven fabrics, garments, home textiles and retail business. He was president of the National Chamber of the Textile Industry from 2012 to 2015.
