Christopher Campbell is staff director of the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance. Campbell designs, manages and coordinates the Senate Republican agenda on international and domestic taxation, international trade, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, the national debt and oversight of 10 presidential Cabinet secretaries. In each of the last four years, Roll Call named him one of the 50 most influential staffers on Capitol Hill. Previously, Campbell served as legislative director to Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah. He rejoined Hatch's staff after serving as his national field director during Hatch's 2000 presidential bid. Before that, Campbell owned a consulting firm that specialized in business strategy. He received a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an M.B.A. from Thunderbird School of Global Business Management.
