Stephanie von Friedeburg

Stephanie von Friedeburg is vice president of corporate strategy and resources for IFC, where she is responsible for developing IFC's corporate strategy and ensuring that the institution's resources are aligned to support the successful implementation of this strategy. Ms. von Friedeburg oversees all IFC corporate functions, including HR, IT, budget, and facilities. Ms. von Friedeburg has 25 years of investment and development experience in the World Bank Group. Prior to her current position, she served as WBG chief information officer, where she transformed the role of IT into that of a strategic business partner. Previously, Ms. von Friedeburg served as CIO for IFC, senior manager for IFC Global ICT, and manager for IFC general manufacturing investments in Russia. Ms. von Friedeburg sits on the advisory board of Box.org, the Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union, the Global Business Initiative external advisory board for Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, and the CIO advisory board for Greylock Partners.
