Vicki Fuller is chief investment officer for the New York State Common Retirement Fund, which holds assets in trust for more than one million employees and retirees from state and local authorities. As of December 2016, the fund had an estimated value of $186 billion. Fuller is responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies to ensure that the fund remains one of the nation's best-managed public pension plans. Previously, she was with Alliance Bernstein for nearly 30 years, most recently as a managing director. Fuller has been named one of the most powerful African Americans on Wall Street by Black Enterprise magazine, been honored by the Financial Women's Association and the National Association of Securities Professionals, received the Reginald F. Lewis Achievement Award from Sponsors for Educational Opportunity and been named to Chief Investment Officer magazine's Power 100 list. She holds a Bachelor's in business administration from Roosevelt University in Chicago and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
