Mark Gorenberg is a founder and managing director of Zetta Venture Partners, a seed and early-stage fund focused on data and analytics. Over the last 25 years, he has funded and served on boards of successful start-ups that include Omniture, AdForce, NetDynamics and Crowdfactory. He is a director of various private data and analytics companies, including Domo, InsideSales and Domino Data Lab. Gorenberg is an advisor to some of the country's most influential technology institutions: He is a trustee of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Corp., board member of the MIT investment committee and director of the National Venture Capital Association. In 2011, President Barack Obama appointed Gorenberg to the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. Gorenberg started his technology career at Sun Microsystems as a member of its first SPARCstation workstation team and as an executive at software start-ups. He graduated from MIT and received master's degrees from the University of Minnesota and Stanford University.
