Hiromichi Mizuno is executive managing director and chief investment officer of Japan's Government Pension Investment Fund. Previously, he was a partner at Collar Capital, a London based private-equity firm, and held senior posts at Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co., Ltd. Mizuno is an executive advisor to the Hiroshima Innovation Platform and to the Japanese Cabinet on Health Care and Medical Promotion Strategy. He is a guest professor at the Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine and the Kindai University Global Economic Research Center. He is also an advisor to Kyoto University's Center for iPS Cell Research and Applications, as well as a senior fellow at the Tel Aviv University Graduate School of Management. Mizuno holds a B.A. from Osaka City University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
