Executive Director, Lynda and Stewart Resnick Center for Public Health, Milken Institute
Edward Greissing is executive director of the Lynda and Stewart Resnick Center for Public Health at the Milken Institute. He previously was senior vice president for corporate affairs and head of government affairs for Sanofi US. For more than three decades, Greissing led corporate public affairs and industry advocacy initiatives, first at Upjohn Company and later at Sanofi. In those roles, he directly supported 10 CEOs and guided six of them as they served as officers and chairmen of PMA/PhRMA, the biopharmaceutical industry trade association. At Sanofi Greissing was responsible for chronic disease prevention and wellness, health innovation and health and economic policy. He created and directed initiatives on patient health, internal and external communications and corporate social responsibility. Greissing recently received the American Cancer Society Donald H. Gemson Cancer Prevention and Public Policy Award. He holds a bachelor's degree from Holy Cross and a master's in congressional studies from Catholic University.
